You may increase your libido just by eating a handful of almonds every day.

Their many health and weight-loss advantages belie their hefty fat content. There is a long list of health benefits associated with eating nuts, including but not limited to: strengthening immunity, helping with weight reduction, controlling diabetes, and maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.

Study participants who ate 60 grams of nuts daily reported an increase in desire and an improvement in the quality of their orgasms, among other sexual functions. The results, which were published in the journal Nutrients, demonstrate that a Western diet that is unhealthy can enhance orgasm quality and sexual desire by including walnuts, hazelnuts, and almonds.

In order to find out whether eating nuts regularly affects sexual functions, researchers from Rovira i Virgili University and the Pere Virgili Health Research Institute (IISPV) in Spain performed a nutritional intervention study with healthy people of childbearing age.

Over the course of fourteen weeks, the researchers focused their attention on 83 people who were adhering to a western diet, which is deficient in fruits and vegetables and abundant in animal fats.

In a previous study, the same research group documented how specific nuts, such as walnuts, hazelnuts, and almonds, increased the quality of sperm. However, at that time, they had not yet demonstrated that nuts have favorable impacts on sexual function.
